Choir Director
Melissa Anderson
Melissa is the youngest daughter of Pastor and Sherri Bond.
She was born in Oklahoma, and moved to Port Richey with her
family in 1987.
She was in All County and All State choirs while in Middle School, and
was very active in Total Sound , a music and dance group, at Gulf
High School.
In 2001 Melissa graduated with honors from USF. Though not a Music
Major in college, she continued to invest her time and talents in music.
Melissa is happily married to James Anderson, and they have a BIG dog
and two cats.
A few years ago the church was in need of a Choir Director, and Melissa
reluctantly took the position, argueing she didn't know how to lead or teach
a choir. Happily her argument fell upon deaf ears. She has since proven she
is more than capable in leading and teaching the choir to perform not only
up to their potential, but beyond.
Melissa encourages the choir to give God their best; to "Make a joyful
noise" to glory God. The choir, though small in number, is large in their
sound and harmony, thanks to Melissa.
